Ideally a cinema, because it relies on amplified sound and not
architectural acoustics should be pretty dead. If you find that it sounds a
bit hard or echoey in their i would recommend running some carpet up the
walls. Looking at the size of the room , if you are goig to have any
problems in will be in the upper mid-range and higher frequencies. I would
seriously suggest soft furnishing the wall opposite the viewing end as this
will be the most critical, maybe something like a curtain across the back.

I guess if worst case - you could always treat the walls with some
acoustic foam/pads although I guess you don't have much room?

Not sure so far. Still in that really echoy stage with lots of bare
floors
and walls. Plan is to install a nice think carpet and a few book shelfs
and
cupboards on the flat walls so that should absorb some sound. Not sure
how
the surround speakers are going to sound yet. Just ordered 4 x LD11 for
the
lighting :-).
