The DHCP is running on the router at 192.168.0.3 and the laptop gets
its address from there. The IPCONFIG file below is from the the XP
PC which I assigned IP 192.168.0.1 to as I want to use it for
dialling into the internet hopefully (some of us can't get broadband
yet......when I do then I can use the WAN port on the KCorp router).

I've probably went about this all wrong, but I don't know any
better !
