I was one of those who did the unofficial Bulk Buy from Dell of the Axim X5
with TomTom etc. and have been delighted with it. I have just added a CF
GPS receiver to my collection (£35 from HK via Ebay - stunning!!!) so I now
have hand-held SatNav - however I am looking at GPS mapping software for
walking/biking/running cables (possible tenuous HA connection!) I have
evaluated Memory-Map OS edition and sound it pretty good, but wondered if
any list members had any experience of what is available - is there a clear
front-runner? I am located close to Watford Gap services and the bulk of
the walking is done around Ambleside.

Any pointers from satisfied customers would be appreciated.

TIA

Tim.
