Then all that really remains is running the power to the PC and monitor
from
the location where it worked okay. That may tell you if the noise is
coming
through from the outlets at the one location.
If you can get hold of a UPS or LCD monitor it's worth trying just to
eliminate as many things as possible
other than that I'm stumped
Sorry, looks like you'll have to put it down to Ancient Electrical Laylines
and move the PC :-S

Tried it on a filtered power socket extension lead wotsit.
