I got the white I think.

I had a discussion with the Lady at ellie over the phone, she was
very knowledgable.

As I understand it the grey effectively gives you a deeper black in
rooms where you have ambient light issues, as the darkest black is
only as dark as the ambient light if you get my meaning!

If I remember rightly, with the specs of the PVL-Z2 brightness and
contrast ratio, along with my aim for almost blackout, it just isn't
required, and I think it was not advised, though I can't remember
specifically why.

Anyway, give them a call, they know their stuff, I didn't feel like I
was being fobbed.
