CCTV camera PSU

I bought a cheap IR CCTV camera on eBay some time back. Now that I've come
to finally install it I find there is a label on it that states it needs an
8v PSU. That's the only info I have. Looking around my vast collection of
wall warts I can see 6, 7.5, 9, 12 volts etc but no 8 volt (maybe that's
why
it was so cheap?!) Any thoughts on what I should use??
