Re: Sky plus help
The twin core cable is still the same size as two and the connectors either
crimp on or just screw on, they are as easy to fit as standard coax
connectors.

Is it possible to get cable with the 2 "cores" in one outer - ie
so I can
just replace the existing cable ?
Is it easy to fit the connectors on the cable ends ?

Richard,
I will be doing my install this weekend. You can do the change yourself its
not too difficult so long as you are happy going up a ladder and ruuning a
second CT100 cable.
I bought the box from Simplydigital.co.uk already upgraded with a 250gb
drive. Could have don it myself but could not be bothered at the end of the
day.
So long as your subscription is over £30 a month the sky plus service is
free, and its simply a call to sky to tell them you need to switch the box
from a standard to a sky plus, should be simple.
I will report once its all done.
Kevin
