Mal,

I would be interested in a stand-alone box the connects to a VFD feeding it
information "seen" on the network. Something like a weather
screen,
inside/outside temps, BBC headlines.... I don't know if this is possible
but if it were, it would convince me to get into xPL (or xAP).

My 2p...

There has been an upsurge in interest in xPL recently (as anyone subscribed
to ukha_xpl will have noticed!). Some of this is due to new features, and
more devices being supported. This made me wonder whether there are
devices
out there that we have missed, and that if supported would enable more
people to take advantage of the xPL system.

So, the question is - would or could you use xPL if we added support for a
particular device(s)?

Mal

BTW, xAP people don't need to answer "no" ;-)
