RE: Holesaw help !




I have one of the older versions of this - the one with the single blade
and weights. Works like an absolute treat to cut fresh holes without
getting $hit all over your face and in your eys

But when I've had the need to enlarge a hole - a padsaw is the tool of
choice for me.

Would like to say though  - and speaking from personal experience,
please please wear some form of eye projection - plaster dust and other
stuff in your eye can make a bit of a mess.

Screwfix have one too, cuts up to 220mm and is similarly priced, see:

I'm not sure how easy it would be to use one of these to enlarge an
existing hole though, you may be better off with Keith's padsaw
suggestion.
