Yes and No !!!

Yes you can just split the output ( se below) but you will only be
able to get 1/4 of the channels at any one time!

A satellite feed delivers one of 4 signals from the LNB. There are
two freqenecy bands (Hi & Lo) selected by a 22kHz tone fed up the
cable and two polarisations of signal (H & V) selected by the voltage
fed up the cable. 13V = Vertical, 17V = Horizontal.

A simple splitter can be made with two diodes and two capacitors but
if either receiver outputs 17V you will get the Horizontally
polarised signals, likewise if either receiver outputs a 22kHz tone
you will get the Hi Frequency Band signal.

At worst case neither receiver would get what it wanted eg

Rec 1 requests Vertical Hiband (13V + Tone)
Rec 2 requests Horizontal Loband (17V NO tone)

LNB sees 17V + Tone so gives Horizontal Hiband !!!

There are two "proper" ways to do this.

1 A Quattro LNB which has 4 outputs each capable of switching to the
desired band and polarisation

2. A QUAD LNB which has individual outputs for H-Lo, H-Hi, V-Lo and V-
Hi and must then be used with a switch that routes the correct signal
to your satellite receiver.

Option 1 is the usual domestic solution, option 2 is designed for
SMATV systems in blocks of flats etc where many receivers are fed
from a single LNB. (Can be 32 or more!!!)
