Des,

I just tried that, and no change. I now have the following set up:-

Sky Video output To HV Input
HV Output to TV Video Input

I get the exact same result. I can see the extrnal video fine, I can
see On screen display overlayed onto blue background displaying
custom menu no probs.

I cannot see same custom menue overlayed onto external video ??

Just checked my Prom also and its PAL 3.0, so al looks okay there.
