RE: Short range PIR's

Point them down and internally mask off the view leaving a narrow slit

Works a treat

Subject: [ukha_d] Short range PIR's

Is it possible to get PIR sensors that only work over a short range? I'm
looking to place a couple at the top and bottom of some stairs (but just
before the actually steps), but don't want it being triggered by some
walking around the room. I would therefore want a PIR with a range as
little
as 1m.
