Use an AC opto-coupler connected to whatever is on when the machine is
drying (assume heater, or motor). Just needs a few components added to drop
the voltage and pull-up the output and you're there.


BTW just noticed that I have a box of about 25 of the Crydom IO modules

) but mostly the DC IO ones ( few
AC IO ones max 132 VAC though) Any offers?

Magnet on he drum. Reed switch next to it. Use a controller to detect when
the switch is pulsing - and when it stops ?
