We used one at work for a trial and the thing was awful to use and is

One of the nice hard cases for transporting is a better idea.

By the way, there are always parts for Ipaq on eBay and I have seen the LCD
module on there too for a reasonable price. Another company who do Ipaq
parts is Foxconn. Not sure of there website, but it was linked from
HP/Compaqs in the past.

Hopefully they'll just be able to do a touch screen replacement, as at
=A3207, the complete LCD replacement isn't cheap.... Expansys sell
refurb'd 5450's for =A3346.57
