The reason it looks ugly is that you have mismatched trim and paddle...

...the trim ring is supposed to be used with a larger double sloped plate
and the paddle you are using is supposed to be used with a chunkier trim
ring. The plates and trim rings are Yung CD500 compatible and it should be
possible to source them from Germany separately - unfortunately try as I do
I can't get anyone to supply us with them in the UK!!!
