Thank you for your interest in Russound products. Let me assure you that
there is 0% truth in that statement. The CA6.4 was engineered in house by
us, and it not made or sold any other name than Russound. Actually a look
at
the feature sets should make it pretty clear that they are very different
pieces. There are a few similarities in the systems (number of zones and
sources, amp power) there are many differences in the user interfaces and
feature sets. Please let me know if you need any further questions
answered.

source. I also vote for these - very cheap compared to some of the
competition. The keypads aren't as flashy as some of the others around
though (I have the double ones).
