Whole House AV

Hey everyone!

This probabaly won't be happening for a while but I want to get some
idea of costing....

When I move into my shiny new house (as soon as I can find one on
the market that I like!) I want to put in whole house A/V.  The plan
is to be able to select which source you want to hear in each room
and be able to listen to different sources in different rooms - I
also have my PC audio collection so I want that accessible.  This
means different audio from the SAME source (i.e the PC).

Is my best bet going for an exstreamer setup and have everything run
off my PC - in which case how do I control the audio in each room?

OR do I save up big time and in about 5 years get a kustom or
russound amp?

For video I want to use Kat5 but I want a multi-source setup with
that too so i'll probabaly wait until Keith releases his video
switcher box.

Any suggestions?  Its all pie in the sky at the moment but I want to
get as much of it now as possible before SWMBO decideds to spend my
budget on non-essential stuff like food and decorating!
