GPS Aerial
Great,
some 3 weeks after taking my order for a GPS reradiating aerial, (during
which time it always showed as "due in 5 days") Expansys have now
informed
me that it is discontinued... :-(
So I have to make another selection...
I've managed to find another choice, but I noticed that it requires a
connection to the vehicle power supply via the cigar adaptor...
My main question is therefore, is the power requirement a common thing? -
are the reradiating aerials all active devices requiring (yet another)
connection to the cigar socket? or are there any available which are purely
passive devices?
secondly, anyone got any specific recommendations for a GPS reradiating
aerial?...
