RE: Re: Slink-e question

I'm afraid the slink-e I bought didn't come with any documentation or infra
red emitters, I've just been using it with CDJ but know want to have a look
at infra red. I've looked at the documentation on there website already but
I didn't see anything which told me how to connect an emitter to 'IR tx 0'
port, which on my slink-e is an RJ11 port. I think my question should have
been what do I use to connect an emitter (which as far as I know come with
a
mono jack connection) to the RJ11 port?

I cant seem to access Barry Gordon's website at the moment but will have a
look later on.

Thanks anyway.

IR0 is just an orinary IR blaster, plugs in.

IR1 connects to a Xantech bus, so an IR emitter with a series
resistor can be connected between the S and G lines.

You have got the slinke documentation, yes?

Online at http://www.nirvis.com/help/help.htm

Or download and install CDJ and its in there in the help section.

Another place to visit is Barry Gordon's website,

http://www.the-gordons.net

and check out the downloads section for more IR related information
and tools.
