Jeff

Thats a real trade term !!

They come in single and double pole, and usually accept cables upto 25mm2 -
so would probably be ideal to joint so many cables - personally i'd use
klippon IMO type connectors on a din rail and interlink them all - if you
have a fault you're going to have to take all 12 out each time.

You can get Henleys from any local wholesaler - if you get desperate i can
probably bang one in the post to you....

I've got 12 runs of 2.5 t&e which have got to be connected to 1
low-voltage
halogen transformer ( LD11+X10 of course ). That number of 2.5mm cables
are
THICK and I'm after some sort of insulated distribution block. Apparently
I'm after something like a 'Henley block'. The idea is to run all 12
cables
onto the + and - bars within the block ( using the nice chunky connector
screws ) and then one run of t&e back to the transformer. So the
question
is where on earth do you get this type of thing ? Not having much luck
with
the usual suspects ( tlc, screwfix, cpc ). Thanks in advance. Jeff
