I used to run one using an old CB transformer. It was specifically
designed to run a car based device in the house.

A quick google search found this page full of similar type of
transformer: http://www.nevadaradio.co.uk/acatalog/cb-droppers.html
and
I am sure the must be others around.

Hi All

I have been looking for an amp to use in the kicthen for use with the
Kiosk PC and ceiling speakers.

Now I dont need a full HiFi amp as I will only ever use one input and
the volume can be controled from the PC.

Could I just get a Car HiFI Amp to do the job?

Wondering if anyone has tried this?

Regards

ben
