Information on VoIP / Asterisk

Hi,

I have had my appetite wheted by the Asterisk phone system but its quite
new to me so I was wondering where people go for UK specific info ? All the
sites I have been reading seem to be US based...

Areas I'm looking to clarify,

UK (BT) CLI... do the cheap PCI FXO's provide CLI onto the PBX ?

What is the preferred way to go for extensions (FXS), soft phone (probably
not), ATA, what about the new Vigor router can this be used ? Again what
suits the UK?

Are there any VoIP service providers that provide a 'benifit' to going the
Asterisk route, cheap or free calls, again UK based services ?
