It's not fanless because it is going to go into a cupboard and have 4 disks
in the case.
The case itself is the venus variety which also has fans (one in the psu
and two others -
although you don't have to connect those). This probably isn't the case for
an HTPC in
your lounge. I can't comment on how acceptable this mobo would be with the
cpu fan alone -
it does appear to be the loudest of the 4 I have in there, but for an HTPC
you would put
in a resistor to slow the fan down. If you don't need PCI cards, then the
E-Otonashi case
would be what you want. Linitx will even do the install for you (take the
fan off, install
the heatlane and sort all the mobo-case connections)
