soon as you start replacing/adding to "the protection device" you
need to
certify or be inspected. So adding a socket is fine to DIY, Replacing a
fusebox/MCB isnt.

I belive they're also changing the colouring of the cable you buy e.eg
T&E ?
Not sure if this is related (so its possible to idenitfy
"additions") or
co-incedental

I wasnt aware there was a huge problem that needed rectifying - but I'm
sure
the government knows best.....not. More nanny state.
