RE: Central locking for houses

Malcolm

this has been around for a while I looked at it at a show in Dublin over a
year ago.

I have the details somewhere (on paper so not to easy to find) if nobody
turns up a link I will have a dig for it.

System was very car like and worked on pneumatics giving a thunk as
everything locked (it gave a warning if any of the locks failed). It was
also
aimed at windows not just doors. Rather expensive though as I recall.

Subject: [ukha_d] Central locking for houses

I'm working in Birmingham just now (instead on my normal Glasgow!) and
just caught the end of a news item on the Midlands Today (I think) news
programme last night. It was featuring a company that claims to have
introduced a central locking system for domestic houses (on the exterior
doors) that's the equivalent of that we enjoy on our cars. Did anyone else
see this and can confirm details, website, etc??

TIA

MAlcolm
