Hi Nick,

so you mean as to use the slimp3 to be a remote control selector
whatever and feeding the output back into my centralised amps....

Would be great if I could make that work - but as you stated : it
would have to go through 1 cat 5 wire since I can't possibly fish
another one down the same tube of where I would like to fix the
display to the wall (need power as well for the display and kat5
unit.)

Swmbo does not like me to hack (more) holes in the walls to hide
stuff for the moment - I just used up all my bonus points installing
IR all over the place last weekend (concrete walls/plaster & dust)
