Hi Dean,
I got one of the 8" touchscreens last week and there is a setting in
the
touch panel driver (www.worcol.com <http://www.worcol.com/> touchpanel on
this) for multiple monitor support with the option to split screen to what
looks like 2 or 4 monitors.
I've only got one for a van just now so I can't test for you, but sounds
like it would work.. :-)
I seen laser keyboards at CeBit which I think would be a good partner for
these in some applications- they project a red keyboard mask onto a surface
which they scan in real time to provide the keystrokes.
An example. http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=110909
How's that for a wipe clean keyboard in the kitchen? ;)
Does anyone know if anyone in the UK has any if these in stock yet? There
were a few different companies demoing them at CeBit so they should appear
pretty soon.
Expansys don't even give a dues in date.. :-(
Wish I could have made it down to UKHA...hopefully next year..
Chris

After drooling over the LinITX little touch screens it got me thinking.
Would it be possible to have multiple screens off one PC ?
A thought was to mount a couple around the house as low cost colour
controllers both displaying the same output and showing changes made by
other screen.
Could you have two touchscreens simultaneously connected via USB ?
Dean.
