Not this time, we decided to just make a blast for home.
I was talking about coming into the city to see the "Gherkin"

It's (in my opinion) easily one of the most impressive bits of modern
architecture on the planet, and I'd hoped to make a wee sight seeing
visit.
It's now on my list of "London things" to do - Including visiting
the
Victoria and Albert, the only big London museum that we haven't
"done"
yet.
We tend not to do "proper" holidays, and prefer city breaks -
hoping to
manage Rome and Athens next, but it has been a few years since we did
London properly.
Another time perhaps...
