Re: CCTV camera output sharing



Mate was looking into something similar to allow them to use the same CCTV
camera in a video libary to go to the multiplexer/VHS recorder, and also a
PCI
capture card on the counter computer to capture mugshots of the people
renting
things.

What we did was pulled the surface mount 75ohm resistor off the capture
card so
it wasnt terminating the video signal. We used a T connector and a BNC-RCA
adaptor on teh back of the card. All ended up looking like an oldschool
coax lan
install. Worked fine too
