Hi Mark,
I found that with a larger heat sink there is no need for a processor fan.
I do however use one of the AcoustiFans from QuietPC just to help draw any
heat out from the general environment - even with the fan it is virtually
silent. The fan in simply screwed up to the back of the case using the
existing vent holes - it sits directly over the top of the cpu. I stuck the
temperature probe for the fan into the heat sink. I have a 7200 HDD ( the
quiet ones - Seagate) and the inverter in the box. With the fan disabled
the outer case gets a little warm but nothing to worry about. I stuck my
hand in and felt the HDD, it was a comfortable temperature (this was after
about 7 hours use) With the fan running the outer casing remains at room
temperature. The CPU heatsink remains at a comfortable temperature.
Can't help with the case images though - did you see them on the MP3Car
forum - there were some pictures of a shiny black box on there - perhaps
someone posted a link to it?
Regards,
David

Someone posted a link to photos of the kiosk pc some of us bought a while
back built into a box so it could sit on a counter top. I'd like to do
something similar and would like to see the pics again, anyone remember
URL?
Also, just got my silent PSU from LinITX, and now I need a quiet CPU fan,
anyone been able to get one?
Thanks
M.
