It's simple really, you have a bluetooth dongle (I use usb ones) at each
location.
Each location reports if it can 'see' you and the * box routes the call
accordingly.
The presence detection boxes don't have to to asterisk boxes - they just
run a daemon.
This means you could have a number of them around your office and have your
calls literally
follow you where you go :)

Each detection is 'scored' so multiple detectors shouldn't be a problem.

This should illustrate how it works: (if YHG doesn;t screw it up)


call -> * box (where is andy) -> find highest scoring detector ->
route to nearest channel

If there is no highest scoring detector (ie score for all is 0) then route
to the default channel
which in my case is my mobile...
