Just to let you know I've found:

among many others and it seems relaying voice is ok (even from the
internet) so I think I'll give it a go, just start with a status
response or something for starters and see how much traffic there is
over the frequency here.. I know the motorbike test center uses them!
Could be fun... still as long as I'm data free and don=92t transmit
anything without it being requested I think I should be ok.
I'll tell you how I get on!
