Chris

coincidentally i just added a Meteor unit to my HomeSeer set up at the
weekend. The installation went very smoothly and worked (almost) first
time. I'm not sure if any of this helps but, following advice given in the
HomeSeer forums I installed the latest version of the beta of HomeSeer
Phone. Some in the forums seemed to suggest that this resolved some of the
number lookup problems they were having. I'm not even sure that HSP is
essential though if all you want to do is collect phoned numbers...

Also, I can't check version numbers from here at work, but I'm sure the
version of the plugin I installed was higher than 1.5. Do you have virtual
devices for incoming, outgoing, etc calls? If not I'd suggest getting the
latest version from Justin's web site (gadgetjunkie.com??).

I also had problems with comms framing errors initially when i was using a
serial / USB adapter but these have gone now I'm on direct serial
connection.

Finally someone else suggested using Hyperterminal to look at the serial
port and see if any data at all is coming through...

HTH

Malcolm
