Occupancy detection by Pulsor floor stress sensors

I am about to have a play with some floor stresss sensors called
'Pulsors' made by Sure Action in the States. These are small sensors
that are epoxy glued to the joists under your floor or stairs (and even
to RSJ's) and detect the flexing of the joist.  They are then connected
into zones and through a processor board that provides a relay output to
indicate occupancy.  Has anyone tried these at all ?   The blurb seesm
to imply they can be made highly sensitive and very reliable, and are
often used in security systems including the decks of Yachts. The
processor board also handles some vehicle 'driveway' sensors they
offer.  I am just trying to find if they stay triggered when the load
remains or if they require weight changes.

There seem to be three different sensitivities available and each sensor
covers an oval of typically 7' x 4' on a joist.   Sensors can be
combined into zones. You can set the sensitivities to make them dog
proof and the processor detects a human style of movement rather than
canine aparently.

If anyone else wants  to jump on my order and share the postage (not a
bulkbuy) let me know. I do expect to have to pay VAT and duty though. If
there are a few then there are 6 packs and 10 packs available which
brings the cost down. I plan to buy a couple of varying sensitivities
and will report back. I dont think there's a UK source.

At the moment sensors are around $40 - $55 ea depending on sensitivity
and a single zone processor is $70 or the 3 zone at  $120
