Most of the switches either have 1 or 2 pairs of screw connectors

The plugs are only found on the dimmer units



Also from experience it is worth running the Pink Cat 5 for C-Bus

As you can connect to it anywhere the ability to spot the C-Bus control
cable in a bundle of other Cat 5 is a real bonus.

And if you are installing C-Bus the difference in cost over 300m is
insignificant over the total install cost

I would just use cat5 everywhere as its so cheap.

In general, stranded is used in patch cables and solid for hard wired
installation ( I just ordered 10 boxes of the stuff).

Just run solid Cat5e everywhere - very cheap - very reliable.

You can use it for your CBUS if you wish rather than the pink stuff they

sell.
