Hi Jim,

Is this a rendered wall or a normal brick wall ?

If its a brick wall put the pin in the join between the brick and
cement as it is much easier to get it in. Also light rapid taps are
far more effective than heavy hammer blows and less likely to cause
the pin to shatter or fly off at an angle.

Dont forget to wear eyeshields and mind your fingers!!!!

Also for horizontal runs, the pin should be below the cable, that
way, if the clip cracks which they can do, the pin will still support
the cable.
