Ah well, the lightning fast parts service from UKwhitegoods (Excellent
service!) has told me that the part is nearly =A370 and I reckon I can get

a
new one for =A3100 with a new warranty!=20

Looks like I'll have to buy SWMBO a new one.

/me goes off to see if he can find one with RS232 or IR support ;-)

I have heard of a few fatalities involving microwave ovens ,so would advise
not to mess around with them.......
