RE: XP MCE 2005 - UK Launch

Its got an ATI e-home tuner in it, which is Analogue connected to a Sky
box via an RGB-SVIDEO convertor. I'm using the Svideo input and the
svideo output to the TV.

The EPG is ok, in the same format as the sky (Time going across the
screen), I prefer the TiVo format, where the timeslots go down the
screen. It seems fairly up-to-date, but won't cater for last minute
changes as it downloads daily.

My only gripe is the TV quality, oh and the fact that the new remote
won't control my amp, as the tivo remote does. The new remote does
learn, it just doesn't seem to like my Sony remote.

TV quality is one of the most significant improvements according to the
US review. Are you using the same tuner as before? Is it Freeview or
analogue?

Can you give us some info on what the UK EPG info is like.

Thanks

M.
