Pah !!!
I see you your 10yr Panny and I raise you the lates 70's /early 80's
(can't remember the year it came out) generation 1 Philips big brown
microwave. Which has passed down the family to my nephew and has been in
constant use since we got it.
In the instruction manual it said don't put whole eggs in it. "Why not
?"
said I.. hmm lets have a go (as you do when you are a youngster).
Microwaved said egg and removed it from microwave. Put egg on side of
kitchen worksurface.... egg explodes !...Kitchen covered in scalding hot
egg. Luckily I managed not to get hit by it.
