Malcolm,
NEMA is a bit like the BSI in that it sets standards for electrical
products. I am sure that Hubbell makes those connectors amongst other
manufacturers so you could try contacting Hubbell UK directly

It maybe also worth taking a look at this PDF.  http://tinyurl.com/45trh  to check the
specs on the connector. I think the ones you are looking for are on page
A29.

I'm trying to source a mains socket which I'm told is a NEMA L5-30R or
L5-30P (one's a plug and one's a socket and I'm not sure from the P and R
suffixes which is which!).  The usual suspects of RS, Farnell, etc don't
list them.  Anyone point me in the right direction of a UK supplier
please??
