RE: Master / Slave for CD-ROM ??




No, it depends on how you have it set up...

You either -

a) Set up the jumper on the drive as (MA)ster or (SL)ave which tells the
drive/channel what it is  or
b) Set up the jumper on the drive as (CS) cable select, in which case it'll
depend on what position on the cable it is...

But if I have no other drive on the secondary channel, shouldn't the
first (i.e. only) drive be the master ? (the cables I have won't let me
install it as a slave onto the primary channel)
