Thanks for the replies guys,

I will try DVD decryptor, and virtual dub, and also have a go at the
simpsons bits.

I use DVD decryptor all the time for putting films on my AV server,
however, have not adventured into virtual dub as I use the idiots
package Dr.Divx for everything after the rip.

Will try to remember to get a photo up when it is all working, though
photographing a video projection is difficult!
