I use the full nero suite of apps, specifically nerovisio express 2.
I've been putting the odd compilation dvd together for my neice with
this for a while with superb results (well, I think they're pretty
good!)

Hi All,
Just got a DVD writer for my PC and I would like to create a DVD
from some mpeg's I have. What I'd like to do is create a menu
similar to those you get on professional DVD's where the user can
select which movie they would like to play, etc. Can anyone
recommend a piece of software that can create these interactive
menus and convert (if needed) my MPEG's to a format compatible with
most home DVD players?
