Other:
2 x CAT5 (For whatever!)
1 x Shielded 8 core alarm cable (Currently used for IR
receiver)

I am lucky in that the barn has an inner single block cavity from the main
stone walls so all my cables run down the cavity and out through a 'hole'.

HTH

Many thanks,

Rob

Subject: [ukha_d] Plasma screens and cables

Hi there,

I am interested in how people cope with the cables running to a wall
mounted
flat screen - power, video, perhaps cat5 if have a local kat5 unit etc.

Do they run in the wall, do you have sockets up the wall behind the screen
or recessed into the wall, do you have sockets at normal floor type height
and run the cables down the wall (perhaps cover by a fancy conduit cover)?

The reason for asking is that I'd like to prewire for locations where I
will
definitely have a flat screen and locations where I may in the future. In
both cases I'd like it to look clean and nice.

Any comments or experiences would be appreciated.

Cheers and thanks
Shane
