We're looking for Beta Testers to help us test the latest addition=20
to the Harmony software family.

Harmony InfraRed Pro is an integration system for IR commands into=20
Harmony Home Automation Server.

=95 It can learn your equipments IR codes
=95 Opens the opportunities to set up your IR based equipment=20
(Televisions, Amps and many other devices) via events in your=20
Harmony HAS Control system.
=95 System can also send commmands to TV/DVD systems and receive IR=20
commands to control Harmony events.
=95 Works with almost IR remotes inc. Sky. (Will not work with=20
Telewest/ntl/B&O).
=95 For example, one click on a remote control can dim lights, lower=20
blinds, tune TV/DVD and turn your popcorn maker!

It can be used as a standalone system but works to its full=20
potential by integrating with Harmony Home Automation Server to=20
issue commands to your X10 or IR equipment or use your IR remotes to=20
control Harmony events and devices.

Our beta test would be particularly suited to Harmony Home=20
Automation Server users with comprehensive computer knowledge who=20
are happy to work with pre-production software. The Beta test is=20
scheduled to run for the next 3-8 weeks. As a Beta tester, you will=20
be required to install Harmony IR Pro beta on your PC along with a=20
USB IR long distance receiver/transmitter unit and test Harmony IR=20
Pro with your Harmony Home Control setup, then provide feedback (bug=20
reports and suggestions) via a Beta area on our forums.

If you already have a Red Rat 3 USB Infrared Transmitter and=20
Receiver we will be happy to send you the beta software for a small=20
handling charge or you can purchase a complete Harmony IR Pro Beta=20
Test kit with beta software, long range USB IR transmitter/receiver=20
and installation instructions.

Please note we have limited availability for participation in this=20
programme.

We expect to be shipping the beta software from 28th September=20
onwards.

Ben
