Hey, I did it!

I bought a Phoenix Fire safe on Ebay for a tenner (Item number 4325208304).

Drilled 2 x 10mm holes on 12mm centres - this is large enough for a
firewire
connector - this is the result.

Totally chuffed.

BTW I think you can buy cheap safes from Big W for a tenner.
