I had a chance for a quick hour at the show today during my lunch=20
break ( I am based about 1 mile away).

It was great to have a look at some products I have been considering=20
in action, just wish I could have made some more time to attend. I=20
had a quick look at Mark's stand ( sorry I did not have time to say=20
hello). I also had a giggle with a stand almost opposite his,=20
selling some large Plasma displays (42" I think) for =A3800, I was=20
tempted!!!!=20

They had about 6 displays on the stand and they looked good quality,=20
only problem was that what they were selling was not what they had=20
on the stand. why do you not have a sample of the screen you are=20
selling on the stand I ask? It seems that the screen they sell is=20
nothing like the quality of the screens they have on display! They=20
did own up to this when asked but you would have thought they could=20
manage to have at least one you could look at!

Hitachi had some great displays on show, the largest showing what=20
looked like an HDTV demo, very nice indeed.

I had a look at a few of the lighting systems, the more I look at it=20
it seems that I should stop mucking about with X10, tear the house=20
appart and install something decent, just need a flood or similar to=20
give me an excuse.

I know most of you are going over the weekend, I hope you have a=20
good time an look forward to your reports.

Regards
Ian H
