RE: Zwave users

Hey Dave,

I've just started using Z-Wave. I get mine from Letsautomate.com, gotta
support our guys on the list :D

So far I've found Z-wave a bit disappointing is the area of range, but I'm
hoping it'll get better as I add more modules. My main problem is that the
Homeseer PC is in my Media room, an outbuilding. The media room is about 40
feet from the main house, so I'm having trouble getting the Z-Wave signal
to make the jump.

Looking forward to seeing more modules though.. it seems very limited at
the moment. The lack of modules gives me a concern that we might see Z-Wave
fall out off the market, in the UK at least. Looking forward to seeing some
modules for use on internal lighting circuits, e.g like the X10 LD11.

I think the initial outlay for Z-Wave might be putting some people off.
Let's hope we see a future with Z-Wave :\

Cheers

Marc

Hi All,

How many of you on here are using ZWave?

I now have 7 appliance modules, a USB interface and the remote control
and I am well pleased with the operation of the system compared to my
old X10 setup.

Where do you buy yours from?

I buy all mine from Automated Outlet in the US as this works out the
cheapest (sorry all you UK suppliers)

Can't wait to see some more Zwave kit, especially some of the wall
sockets on the Icom Technology website and some UK versions of the
wall switches that are available in the US.

Regards
Dave..
