RE: xAP Switchboard - fantastic 'must have' HA app :)

Nope - dunno how apart from using Exchange. This is really what they want
- having the contacts popup automatically though is the sort of funkiness
that would appeal to my client ;)

I have SBS2003 installed for them but just couldn't get exchange going -
the documentation I had was poor and I bought the "wrong" book on
the
subject.
They are all working quite merrily with separate outlooks and really just
want centralised contacts - figuring out exchange server is on the "to
do"
list, but I don't want to screw up an already working well email setup...

I had set aside an entire weekend to install SBS2003 and get it and
exchange working to replace an old win2k server setup.
Unfortunately, as is usually the case with such things, a quick swapout of
one box for the other failed spectacularly when I realised I could not
easily rename the old server and have both running at the same time whilst
I transferred stuff across - entire weekend went on getting the new
server/network up and running with not enough time to play properly with
exchange before going live.
anyway, I digress...

I thought the xapoutlook thingy only worked with standalone outlook and
not with exchange?? I read something to that effect ealrier when
following some xap link or other...

cheers,

Tony
