Mine is an LS32GA4E which is no longer available. It has DVI input
(supposedly HDCP compliant but I have no sources to check that with) and
serial port control (command set is documented in manual IIRC).

There is a 32GA6E out now which has composite / s-video / component video /
SCART and VGA inputs at =A31099 inc VAT. The GD series have a DVI input (as
well as a freeview tuner) and I would guess that's where you'd be looking
but it's one hell of a price jump to that - the 32" of that is listed
at
=A32999 on the Sharp website. You would however need to check that these
un=
its
do still have a serial port.

Of course you could just get their 65" LCD (listed on their website at
a
mere =A314,000 inc VAT) which definitely does have a serial port and - for
=
the
people who claim that 720p isn't hi-def - is 1920 x 1080 pixels native
resolution. (I expect them all to be placing orders right now and look
forward to their reviews.)

My Sharp Aquos 32" has serial port control for inputs, power control
etc.

Whilst on the subject of LCD's I'm back on my eternal question :-)

Anybody found a decent 30"-32" with RS232 control or discreet IR
for inputs=
,
on and off?

My brother bought the acer 26" screen from ebuyer, after they sent him
a
screen with an eu plug and some eastern European manual/warranty, he sent
i=
t
back for an exchange - which they didn't get right and refunded him.

So, he bought the dell (when it was on offer) and tells me that the screen
on the dell comparatively 'urinates' all over the acer screen in terms of
clarity and picture quality.

I haven't seen either yet though.

Might be worth looking at the Acer AT3201W from ebuyer.

Only =A3760 for a 32" HD ready set. Worth a look at the reviews on
ebuyer.
I'm quite tempted :)
